What a year it’s been! From smashing goals to forging new partnerships, 2024 was a whirlwind of innovation, success, and unforgettable moments. Together, we’ve accomplished so much, and now it’s time to reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made as a team. Let’s take a look back at the highlights of this phenomenal year.
January – Kicking Off with MAFSI Magic!
We started the year in sunny Palm Springs, California, for MAFSI. Our team bonded, grew, and connected with industry friends while staying at a whimsical Airbnb—complete with a megalodon shark slide, a Super Mario-themed game room, putting greens, and bocce ball courts! Amid laughter and learning, Kate Pennington and Melissa Greenwald brought home well-deserved awards for their contributions to the association.
February – Sip, Sell & Savor
The TableCraft team visited Columbus for an exciting Sip & Sell event. We showcased new products while enjoying winter beverages and delicious snacks at The Old Bag of Nails. Elsewhere, our GSM team hit the ground running after their energizing start at MAFSI, armed with fresh sales tips and industry tools to make 2024 a success.
March – On the Road Again
Our team was on the move! Kris Corbitt, Sara York, and Hailey Ware headed to Bayonne, New Jersey, for hands-on product training with Eastern Tabletop. Along the way, they explored Atlantic City and created great memories while sharpening their skills.
April – New Lines, New Opportunities
April was all about growth! We proudly added Mercer Culinary to our portfolio, and Chris Parker joined us at the Columbus Experience Center for training on Mercer and Barfly. Along with Mercer Culinary, exciting updates to our line card included Lion’s Wood Banquet Furniture, Monaco Foodservice, and Le Creuset—perfectly timed for the NRA Show.
May – NRA in Full Swing
The NRA Show in Chicago was unforgettable! Melissa Greenwald, Chuck Kiley, Margie Gaunt, Kris Corbitt, Sara York, and Hailey Ware tackled the show floor, covering over 250,000 steps while discovering innovative products and strengthening relationships with our business partners.
June – Tee Time at the Tom Greenwald Memorial Golf Outing
June brought our annual golf outing at The Golf Club of Dublin. The evening before, we gathered with manufacturer partners for drinks, dinner, and games. The next day was filled with fun on the links, spending quality time with our closest industry friends during this incredible two-day event!
July – Crabs & Connections in Baltimore
Our team flew to Baltimore to visit Lion’s Wood Banquet Furniture for a factory tour and hands-on training. We savored Maryland crabs, explored the city, and narrowly avoided flight delays before a major East Coast storm.
August – Adventures Abroad
Margie Gaunt and Kris Corbitt traveled internationally, exploring Ireland and Scotland, as graciously sponsored by our hosts, Ecoburner and Eastern Tabletop. From losing a passport to building EcoBurners at the factory, their trip was filled with memorable moments, including visits to Hook Head, Trinity College, and the Waterford Distillery.
September – Sips, Snacks & Product Knowledge
Training took center stage with ITI and Monaco Foodservice. ITI shared invaluable product insights while Monaco Foodservice impressed us with margaritas from their Granita machines. It was a fantastic month of learning and connecting with new partners.
October – Tailgates & Touchdowns
We hosted a Greenwald Sales & Marketing tailgate for the OSU vs. Nebraska game, bringing together our manufacturers for food, drinks, and football fun. Memories were made, and the Buckeyes clinched a win! Go Bucks! One of our own, Hailey Ware, celebrated her “win” with an engagement during the game! Congratulations, Hailey and Isiah!
November – Gratitude & Giving Thanks
November reminded us to pause and appreciate our blessings. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our families and trained with Anchor Hocking, including a local factory tour in Lancaster, OH. We are so thankful for local manufacturers and the chance to reflect on all the good this year has brought us.
December – Giving Back, Coming Together, and Closing the Year Strong
The holiday season emphasized giving back and staying connected to our community. Over the year, our team participated in ten Greenwald Givebacks, supporting local causes and strengthening the bonds that matter most. These efforts helped us make a meaningful impact while reflecting the core values guiding us daily.
In addition to giving back, we participated in 14 industry shows, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and building lasting relationships in our market.
We’re beyond excited to kick off 2025 with our January sales meeting and our post-holiday get together. This gathering is more than just a planning session—it’s a celebration of everything we’ve achieved, a time to set ambitious goals for the year ahead, and an opportunity to reignite the teamwork and passion that drives our success.
Here’s to another year of growth, success, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to everyone who made 2024 extraordinary—we couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to an even brighter 2025!
