Fore-get everything you think you know about a great golf outing — because the 2026 Tom Greenwald Memorial Golf Outing just reset par. If you thought 2025 was tee-rific, this year drove it straight down the fairway and into legendary territory. The greens were immaculate, the drives were booming, the birdies were plentiful, and the camaraderie? Absolutely un-fore-gettable. Whether you were a scratch golfer or someone who treats every round like a scenic nature walk, this was a day where every single swing counted — even the ones that found the sand.

Cocktails, Drinks, and Dinner at Mezzo — A Par-fect Night
On Friday, we hosted our manufacturer partners for a night on the town! The group started the evening at Mezzo, the stunning Italian-inspired gem nestled in the heart of Bridge Park. If the golf course was the main event, Mezzo was the victory lap. The restaurant’s warm, sophisticated atmosphere set the tone perfectly for an evening of celebration and laughter in the private Evergreen room.
The menu at Mezzo came out swinging. Guests indulged in handcrafted pastas, wood-fired proteins, and an impressive selection of Italian wines that would make even the most seasoned foodie weak in the knees. Conversation flowed as freely as the 21 espresso martinis, and by the time dessert arrived, everyone agreed: this was no bogey dinner. This was an eagle.

A Night on the Town
The team journeyed through Bridge Park and visited the Apothecary Bourbon and Cigar lounge and capped off the night at Missing Jimmy’s where they had drinks and danced to the Wobble!

Putt-ing the Fun in Fairways
Saturday morning arrived bright, crisp, and full of promise. Golfers rolled up to the clubhouse, coffee in hand, ready to iron out their games and settle old scores — the friendly kind, of course.

And in true Greenwald fashion, the team took the course in style. This year’s custom golf shirts were a classic statement — timeless and sharp. The Greenwald crew looked like they meant business… which made it all the funnier when the first drive hooked left into the rough.

Coolers were stocked and ready for the 8 AM shotgun start. The blast sent a flurry of drives soaring down the fairways — some laser-straight, others taking the scenic route through the trees (nature tours included at no extra charge). Our beloved Fairway Fairy, dressed in wings and armed with mulligans, made her rounds once again, proving that the best shot is often your second one.

We also had fantastic manufacturer friends sponsoring a hole again this year! TableCraft and Waring’s generosity and enthusiasm set the tone for a day of fun, friendly competition while showing us how much they love being our parter! Thank you again, TableCraft and Waring for being our Gold Sponsors.

We also wanted to say a huge “thank you” to all of our manufacturer sponsors. They came in clutch with prizes, gift cards, and support this year. We could not do this outing without their generosity and care!

Fairways, Friends & Flagsticks
With 18 holes ahead and good company all around, teams chipped away at the course one hole at a time. Birdies were chased; bogeys were begrudgingly logged, and more than a few creative scorecards were submitted. Several foursomes even shot Eagles this year!
Laughter echoed from every green as players navigated the course’s character — tricky sand traps, sly water hazards, and the occasional rogue sprinkler. The only splash we wanted was a cold drink being cracked open, not a ball diving into the pond.

In between the chips and strokes, the annual creative photo contest made its triumphant return. The entries ranged from hilarious to genuinely impressive — and a few that defied description entirely. Players flexed their creative muscles from hole one to eighteen, and the course was better for it.

Awards, Toasts & a Par-fect End
As the final putts dropped, golfers made their way in for the awards ceremony — the part of the day where legends are made, and everyone suddenly remembers they played better than their scorecard suggests.
A heartfelt toast from Melissa Greenwald reminded every guest why we gather year after year: to honor the legacy of Tom Greenwald, celebrate the friendships that define this industry, and share a day where every shot matters — even the ones that end up in the rough. Especially those.

Congratulations to our winners:
FIRST PLACE: Michelle Greer, Anthony Cowell, Nathan Beucler, and Perry Lease took home first place and the coveted custom Front of the House Champion Charger with an impressive score of 12 under par.

SECOND PLACE: John Sweeney, Mark Corbitt, Melissa Greenwald and Daniel Skinner delivered a fantastic round to land in second, scoring 5 birdies in a row on the back nine.

THIRD PLACE: Matt Brown, Zach Williams, Scott Leathley, and Evan Bouscher rounded out the podium with a solid, well-earned finish.

We also recognized some standout shots with our proximity prizes:
Longest Drive (Men’s) — Nathan Beucler
Longest Drive (Women’s) — Melissa Greenwald
Closest to the Pin — Matt Brown
Longest Putt — Nathan Beucler

And the most prestigious honor of the evening — the Tom Greenwald Memorial Trophy — was awarded to a partner who exemplifies the trust, collaboration, and genuine spirit that Tom stood for. This award is not handed out every year. It is reserved for the most exceptional relationships in the Greenwald Sales & Marketing family. Congratulations to this year’s recipient: Chris Parker of Mercer Culinary/Barfly — this hardware is very well earned.

Until Next Year — Keep It Out of the Bunkers!
With scorecards signed, trophies raised, and dinner at Mezzo still a warm memory, the 2026 Tom Greenwald Memorial Golf Outing has officially earned its place in the hall of fame.
Memories were made. Friendships were deepened. A few drives were genuinely impressive, and even more were genuinely not — but every single one was taken in the best of spirits.
We’ll see you on the first tee in 2027. Until then: keep your drives long, your putts true, your iron game sharp, and remember — a bad day on the golf course is still infinitely better than a good day in the office.
